Sandpoint Idaho

The rain everyone has been hoping for arrived in Northern Idaho just in time for our visit.  And not rain that you could just put on your raincoat and ignore but downpours, wind, and thunder.  So given the weather we decided to go visit Sandpoint Idaho-which was about 15 miles north of our campground.  In case you are contemplating a visit you should not go to Sanpoint on Sunday's-most places are closed.  We did manage to find a great coffee shop (Evans Brothers Coffee) which had cool artwork,

a yummy winery (Pend Orielle Winery) with over 20 wines to sample

and an average brewery (MickDuff's Brewery) with ok food.
After lunch we decided to take the dogs on a walk next to the lake.
Shortly after our walk started the downpours began again-it was the most rain I have ever tried to walk in!!  So we called it a day and headed back to our trailer and made grilled cheese sanwhiches and warm tomato soup.
