Farragut State Park

Farragut state park is awesome!! They have everything-including hiking trails, biking trails, a swimming hole, a perfect bay for SUPing and kayaking, museum, model airplane flying field, and last but not least a shooting range.  We started the day with 18 holes of frisbee golf.  This park has 4 disc golf courses!!  We did the Northstar course-it was a good mix of short and long holes with lots of trees.  Chad was on fire-he almost had 2 aces!!

Next we decided to check out the mountain biking trails.  There are several miles of mountain biking and hiking trails-they are a mix of old park roads and singletrack.  We really enjoyed the sections that followed the shoreline of Lake Pend Oreille and Buttonhook Bay-they were very beautiful.

After about 14 miles of biking it was time to head back to our campsite for some post-ride refreshments!!  My favorite camping tradition (and yes they have Juanitas in Idaho-I was overjoyed).
After our snack we decided to try a few holes of the advanced disc golf course, appropriately named AWOL.  I am not sure if was the drinks or the course but my skills went downhill drastically from my morning round.  After a few holes we decided to call it a day.  I definitely want to come back here when the wether is a little warmer so we can SUP or kayak or jet ski.
